Shan has alleged years of extensive communication with Edith Frances during the planning and execution of this smear campaign. Shan also started to become very active within Crystal Castles related discord servers. Shan over time became part of a community of fans that gave her an audience and validated her narratives. Some fans genuinely believed her, not realizing she was misleading everyone. 

At some point Shan was invited into a private Discord server called the "4-chat". This tight knit server included Edith Frances as well as a trusted fan named Kevin and another named Jacob. Kevin and Jacob are 2 administrators of Crystal Castles social media accounts, and according to Shan they were in direct communication with Ethan Kath and answered to him. These accounts would become the main accounts initially spreading the smear campaign against Jupiter.

According to Shan when describing this 4-chat, “everything posted goes through there”.

In Sept of 2024 Shan called Jupiter from an unknown number to apologize. She gave a confession and discussed the alleged conspiracy orchestrated by members of Crystal Castles to spread this smear campaign. Days later Shan began sharing information and evidence to back up her allegations of Crystal Castles' members heavy involvement. In these texts she introduced the 4-chat to Jupiter for the first time. These private server channels shown below demonstrate the organized and coordinated efforts behind the smear campaign.

Below are some examples showing how this campaign against Jupiter led directly into a campaign to discredit Alice's experiences with Ethan. As soon as the statement dropped socials started being peppered with posts and comments trying to declare Ethan is innocent because of these allegations against Jupiter. The two should be considered unrelated, but Ethan Kath supporters pushed this narrative immediately, completely ignoring that Alice is just one of many women to bring credible allegations against Ethan Kath. 

CrystalCastlesArchives is one of the largest fan accounts and, as was shown above, works closely with and posts at the direction of members of Crystal Castles. This account was the first account to spread "Shan's" statement wide on social media. You can see the CCArchives post was June 14th 2024, the same day the statement was first published publicly to Imgur. Shan has said she did not post the statement herself and alleged that it was done by Jacob and/or Edith. Jacob of CrystalCastlesArchives then began to regularly post the smear campaign on CrystalCastlesArchives.

Below there is also an example of one of the hundreds of posts by Remixed_Rewired maligning Jupiter. This account is Kevin who is "big pinky era" in the conversations above. He is also "Untitled Profile" on Youtube, another account allegedly directed by band members.

Ethan Kath supporters also started creating fake Alice Glass fan accounts and groups like AliceGlassArchives. These accounts are being used to spread the smear campaign, to confuse real fans, and to draw Alice into all of this by pretending to be concerned fans. These accounts have made up stories that she is in another abusive relationship and that she is being controlled. They then twisted this narrative even further by declaring that Alice should  be canceled because she must be supporting her "abuser".

If Alice were currently being abused or controlled then why should she be cancelled? 

There is reason to believe that this whole narrative was strategically calculated. Alice has spoken out about Ethan and she is an advocate for survivors of abuse. If Ethan and Edith are involved with these accounts as Shan alleges, then there could be reason to believe they have something to gain by trying to diminish and discredit Alice. Are they trying to invalidate Alice's allegations about Ethan? 

And why are these same people ignoring the fact that Alice is just one of many that have come forward alleging Ethan Kath of sexual assault?

Below are just a few examples of CC "fans" using lies from the smear campaign against Jupiter and Alice as a way to declare Ethan Kath somehow innocent.
